CFS/ME SERVICE UPDATE:
Thank you to everyone who took the time to write to the RCHT via
MESH asking for an increase in the CFS/ME Service medical workforce.
Unfortunately, "
the impact of a reduced workforce in the CFS/ME Service"
HOWEVER,THE CFS/ME SERVICE WILL
AT PRESENT:
1. see urgent new cases
2. do follow-up medical, OT and
Psychology appointments
3. accept NEW patients for
Occupational Therapy and Psychological therapy BUT ONLY IF you have
a previous diagnosis OR
THE
CFS/ME SERVICE HAS BEEN REVIEWED and WILL BE REMODELLED with
full details available in mid-April !
